NetSetGo

 NetSetGo

For our youngest participants, we run the NetSetGo program.

NetSetGo is a fun introduction to netball for 5-10 year olds*, helping all players work their way from learning the basics through to participating in formal matches, preparing our youngest athletes to progress into our 13 & Under program with the skills to play weekly matches. And most importantly, it's loads of fun!

*age as of 31 December 2017

NetSetGo runs every Tuesday during Term 2, from 3:30-4:30pm, at Faye Gladstone Netball Courts, off Hamilton Road in South Hedland (behind Caltex Service Station). The first session will be held on Tuesday 2 May.

Registrations for NetSetGo are NOW OPEN! Please click here to register and pay online.

If your child has participated in NetSetGo before, you will need to enter your participant ID and login... if you can't remember, that's okay, just click 'Forgotten log-in details?'... and if you get really stuck, send us an email to netballporthedland@hotmail.com and we'll help you out.

The cost to take part is $80, which includes a pack of netball goodies sent directly to your home. For more information about the participant pack, click here!

Like all of our programs, NetSetGo requires the assistance of volunteers to run. If your children are involved in NetSetGo, your assistance would be sincerely appreciated! Contact us for ways you could help out - netballporthedland@hotmail.com

Net tier - 5-7 year olds (age as of 31 December 2017)

Our youngest players will  participate in skills sessions, game sense activities and modified games for the duration of the program.

Set tier - 8-10 year olds (age as of 31 December 2017)
Our older players will be separated into club teams and will participate in skills training for the first part of the session and finish the session with a modified game of netball. Parent help is essential for coaching and umpiring teams - this program will not continue to run without parent assistance.

We will have the assistance of Hedland Senior High School's Shooting Goals students, however we do require parents to put their hands up and assist with the delivery of the sessions in both age groups, particularly to volunteer as team coaches for the Set Tier. If you are a parent of a Set Tier aged athlete and are willing to coach a team please contact us at netballporthedland@hotmail.com. The competition will not be able to commence until each team has a coach!
